How I met the doctor (Short oneshot)
I keep hearing stories about a timelord traveling time and space with humans from this planet. I never would have expected him to come at my doorstep. This is how I met the Doctor...
I was in London, England, UK when it happened. I was just on vacation from (country). Heading down a street in London I walked down an alleyway of some sort as a shortcut when I noticed a blue box. Seemed weird to have one of these lying around. I looked to see if anyone near by owned it.
But no one was around. I sighed and decided to knock on the wooden thing.
"Hello? Anyone in there?" I asked.
No answer. I looked left and right and people just walked past by it as if it was nothing.
"I wouldn't go near that if I were you," a voice said behind me.
Whipping around I saw a man leaning against the Shakespeare Globe theater. He had bright blue eyes, just like the sky, his smile was soft and inviting. His hair though, it was a wheat blonde with a lock of hair sticking up. He wore a brown bomber with a plane patch on the side of his left arm, a star over his heart. His voice seemed American by the sound of it.
"Are you American?" I asked him.
"What's it sound to you?" he replied.
I looked at him before looking at the box.
"Did you make this?" I asked.
He just smiled, "I remembered when Clara once asked me that."
"Clara?" I blinked, "who?"
He just laughed.
"Ah, how I miss that. Say it again dudette."
"Who?" I looked at him confused.
"No, put Doctor in front of that dudette!"
"Doctor Who?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, feels so good hearing people call me that HAHAHAHA!" he laughed, "but I like Hero instead of Doctor sometimes."
"Right..." I said sarcastically, walking away.
He looked at me before calling out to me.
"Yo! Wait dudette! I forgot to ask your name!"
I laughed, looking back at him. Watching him run after me. My (e/c) eyes meeting his.
"I'm ____," I said, "_____ ______."
"____, cool name," he said, "Where are you headed?"
"Tower of London," I replied, "first time in London and I want to check out a bit of it's history."
I watched as his smile became larger, if that was even possible.
"Tower of London, huh? Why not see it in action?" he suggested.
I looked at him, as if he was insane.
"That's not possibly, seeing it in action would mean I'd have to time travel, which isn't possibly," I told him.
"Wow, you really are a cynical person, Ms. Grouchypants," he laughed, "but I do."
With that, he grabbed my wrist and lead me back to that blue police box out of wood. Opening it, he pulled me in.
"What do you think?" he asked.
"It's big..." I said in awe.
"I know, so Tower of London?" he asked.
"How old are you ____ _____?" he asked.
"(age)," I replied.
"Well, seems like you're going to traveling with the Hero now!" he proclaimed laughing.
"I thought you were a doctor?" I asked.
"Pffft what? No, my name's The Doctor," he said, "I'm a timelord duh!"
"Wait, so that means your the mad man in a box I kept hearing about? You look pretty young," I said.
"Regeneration of course," he replied, "now 1500's to meet Bloody Mary! Hahaha!"
And that is how I began traveling with The Doctor.
